Meet Trey Sanders

CREATIVE VISIONARY

My name is Trey Sanders. I’m a 23-year-old Black writer and worldbuilder who has been creating stories for most of my life.

Writing didn’t come easily to me at first. Growing up, I struggled in school with ADHD, dysgraphia, and an auditory processing delay. I could imagine entire stories clearly, but translating them into words was difficult, and for a long time I felt behind in the classroom. Even through that, imagination never left—I was constantly creating characters, powers, and entire worlds in notebooks.

After transitioning to homeschooling, I relearned how to write and organize my thoughts, and at thirteen I completed my first full book. From that point on, storytelling became something I knew I would continue building long-term.

Today, I focus on long-form storytelling and large-scale worldbuilding. I write within speculative fiction, cyberpunk, neo-noir, psychological action, and drama, often grounded in crime-driven worlds.

My work explores identity, isolation, and the tension between control and freedom. Set in high-pressure, system-driven environments shaped by technology, society, and power structures, my stories follow individuals pushed to their limits—mentally, physically, and emotionally. Violence is not spectacle, but consequence, and across every narrative, the central thread remains the same: the struggle to reclaim oneself in systems designed to control, erase, or redefine identity.

My creative style is influenced by a mix of visual and cultural forms—anime, film, games, martial arts, music, and sports. I often approach movement and action like choreography, where timing, rhythm, and spacing shape how scenes unfold.

The goal behind both my work and this platform is simple: to create a space where people with big ideas can build, share, and grow their stories without having to figure everything out alone.
